As he spent nearly 50 years of his life writing to kids about social justice and the betterment of the people, he did create a lot of superheroes but with a touch of humanity and real-life feelings that has bound us all together as one community. Reminiscing on his greatest works, stars like Ryan Reynolds, The Rock himself, and the co-chairman of DC studios, James Gunn took to their social media platforms to pay tribute to the legend.

“Happy Heavenly Birthday to an old friend and mentor @TheRealStanlee,” wrote Dwayne Johnson on his Twitter handle. Further extending his heartfelt gratitude for the timeless support, he continued, “As I broke into Hollywood many years ago, he was always so supportive and encouraging which blew me away.” His kindness really moved the Hollywood A-lister as he concluded his caption with a joining hand and a red heart emoji.
Taking to Instagram, James Gunn wrote, “Happy Birthday to Stan Lee. You are missed, my friend.” The Marvel President concluded his line with a hashtag that said #StanLee100.

Following the lead, the Deadpool star also extended his hearty wishes to the Marvel Maestro. Hours ago, Ryan Reynolds took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of himself and Hugh Jackman seated alongside the then-chairman of Marvel. The picture dates back to the 2015 X-Men Apocalypse panel at San Diego Comic-Con international.

Other prominent leads, like Kevin Smith and William Shatner, also shared their mementos, stating that they miss the old man and his “endless parade of smiles.” Stan Lee must have left us, but his legacy stays on forever. With characters like Spiderman and Ironman, which he brought to life, the universe will forever be in debt to Stan Lee owing him all respect and gratitude in the world.
