Netflix’s Cobra Kai was meant to be a homage to the iconic The Karate Kid teen movies from the 80s. However, over the years, the show has become a beast of its own with a gripping story, badass fights, over-the-top drama, intense rivalry, and hilarious dialogues. Cobra Kai season 5 is all set for a grand release on September 9, 2022, and fans are getting impatient to see their favorite characters move ahead with their lives following the thriller season 4 finale.

The showrunners are also keeping the viewers on their toes by giving a sneak peek into Cobra Kai season 5 now and then. The upcoming season will see Johnny Lawrence taking on a completely different adventure following his team’s Eagle Fang loss in the All-Valley Tournament. Recently, Netflix dropped a brief clip that showcased Johnny causing an enormous blunder and it had something to do with Billie Eilish.

Johnny Lawrence puts his new job in trouble in Cobra Kai season 5

As a consequence of losing the All Valley Tournament, both the senseis were prohibited from maintaining their dojos in the San Fernando Valley. Thus, to make a living, Johnny Lawrence starts a gig with the rideshare company in Cobra Kai season 5. It is not going to be easy for the defrocked martial arts master who finds it hard to see past himself to maintain his job for long as the company works on the positive reviews from the customers.

While the viewers will have to wait to see what all madness Lawrence does in his new job, Netflix gave a hint with a 1- minute-13-seconds video. In the video, we can see the sensei picking up two teenage girls for a drop-off. The trouble begins when he manages to upset his clients with his weird music taste. 

The girl requests Johnny to put up Billie Eilish on the radio. However, he starts a cassette of Billy Idol to groove to Mony Mony. This is not all as further in the video, the martial arts master pisses off a lot of his clients with the over-the-top music and rash driving.
