This South Korean thriller series maintained its position on top of Netflix’s most trending list in over 90 countries for over a week after its release. Players are supposed to run towards the finish line when the “light” is “green” and stop when it is “red”. Any player that moves even an inch during the “red light” is eliminated. Sounds fair enough, right? Well, in Squid Game universe, eliminated equates killed.
