Check Out the Hyper-realistic Ai-Generated Images of Henry Cavill as Elf in the Upcoming ‘The Silmarillion’
Henry Cavill is back in the game as he lands some of the big banner projects all at once. The actor is popular for starring in action-packed movies given his physique, which is almost suitable for tough guy roles. His breakout role was as Superman in Man of Steel, but what added more to his fame was the role of Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher. After then, the actor sometimes receives fan nominations for a fantasy drama role.
Apparently, now fans are taking the help of artificial intelligence to portray what their favorite actor might look like in certain suitable roles they want to see him in. One such role is playing an elf in the famous Lord of the Rings film series, The Silmarillion. A fan page on Facebook, Abandoned Films, recently shared an image of what Cavill will look like as Feanor with the help of AI. In fact, the elves generated through AI look exactly how the author J.R.R.Tolkien described them in his books.

While the actor very much looks like the selection of Elves up until now, he is not the only one whom the software transformed as a character. Another character from the book, Galadriel, the niece of Feanor, is perfectly replicated by the software that cast Natalie Dormer as her.
The AI technology used to create the world of The Silmarillion is Midjourney. Although there are other things from the show that this app cast to perfection.
Apart from Henry Cavill as Elf, what else does The Silmarillion look like?
For Lthien, the app considered Miranda Kerr as the right choice, while Katie McGrath became Aredhel. While the app took the imaginary casting to another level of utmost perfection, it messed up a bit while creating the background of the show.

According to Fortress, Midjourney failed to create the illuminating trees from the books Telperion and Laurelin as per their depiction. This is due to the fact that the trees do not resemble those in Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power and instead seem to be typical trees.
Similarly, the most important part of the story, the Silmarils were handled poorly by the AI as well. The AI used basic colors in depicting the stones while the books described them as moonlight mixed with sunshine.
