Zack Snyder is one of the best directors going around. Ever since Zack and Deborah Snyder’s production company signed a first-look film deal with Netflix, Zack Snyder on Netflix has become a frequent affair with the director’s multiple projects lined up.

Although Zack has directed only a handful of movies, the director has ensured that his projects never go under the radar. Zack Snyder has become such a fan-favorite in a brief period. His fans love him so much that they will even start a social media movement if his movies face any trouble.

It is a shame that the US fans, for the time being, can only enjoy one of Zack Snyder’s movies on Netflix. Army of the Dead is the sole movie available on US Netflix. Netflix released the zombie apocalypse movie on May 21, 2021, inspiring a prequel, “Army of Thieves“. Zack Snyder was a producer for this movie too.

Set in a period following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a crew of mercenaries tries to take the ultimate risk and enter the quarantine zone, hoping to pull off a seemingly impossible heist. The movie experimented with the combination of a heist during a zombie outbreak. While the audience was on board with the idea, the movie delivered little for the critics.

Roger Ebert aptly described the movie, “Still, the film delivers on what it promises in its title, which may be all that’s needed for Snyder fans and those looking for a new action movie in an era when it still feels like all the blockbusters have been delayed.” 

Fans can look forward to the bright future of Netflix with Zack Snyder. As the director will be back directing a sci-fi adventure film “Rebel Moon”, anime series “Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas” and a Norse mythology series “Twilight of the Gods”, Netflix US fans will have a lot more Snyder directed films on the platform in the future.
