As ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Leaves Netflix, Here’s How You Can Watch It
The CW network gave us one of the best Vampire thrillers, The Vampire Diaries. The series became a major part of pop culture right from its release. In fact, channels continued to telecast it owing to the demands of its loyal and ever-growing fan base. Unfortunately, the beloved teen drama The Vampire Diaries has exited from our beloved Netflix platform.
The Supernatural Vampire series was based on the book Vampire Diaries by L.J. smith. Owning to its success, the series gave out 8 seasons from 2011-2017. Netflix struck a deal for all 8 seasons with the show’s original network The CW Network, in the year 2011 and even extended the deal in 2016. Unfortunately, the five-year contract between the two companies came to end, and The Vampire Diaries has been pulled off of Netflix. That leaves us with one question, where can the show be streamed now?

The Vampire Diaries will no longer be on Netflix, but here is how you can watch it
Well, the good news is the series will already be ready to stream on HBO Max. In fact, many of The CW Network shows have jumped to HBO Max. This comes as a result of a deal with the two platforms. So just as the series leaves Netflix on the 3rd Sept, fans can continue their binge starting September 04 just on BBC Max. Moreover, The Vampire Diaries is still available in other countries, so if you are traveling or can stay undetected with a VPN change, the show is still available in countries like India.

The series-winning plotline revolves around two Salvatore brothers Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) who are centuries-old vampires living. Both, with stark opposite personalities, fall in love with the same girl, Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), and vow to protect her while Stefan also brings back old lady love Katherine Price (also played by Dobrev).
This becomes a base for the drama, love story, and action woven into the series. Although the show has now ended, creator Julie Plec and the makers of the show are already brainstorming about continuing The Vampire Diaries Universe. Owning the show’s success also led to spin-offs called The Originals and The Legacies.
