A few days back, it was reported that Netflix has decided to postpone the docuseries featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to the increased backlash for season five of The Crown. However, the streaming platform is all set for a royal double-whammy this year. They are eager to unveil the controversial show earlier next month.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hope to deal with the memoir first

It is revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not want the docuseries to release before Christmas. They are hoping for it to hit the screens after the memoir so that they have enough time to do damage control. The docuseries is likely to throw a lot of shady remarks over King, Queen Consort, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. It was majorly filmed before the death of Queen Elizabeth II and was thus not directly questioning the monarch.

However, with Charles as the new monarch, the dynamics of the royal family have gone for a toss. The Sussexes are now concerned about the content of the show and Prince Harry’s team is “frantically asking Netflix to postpone the production“. An inside source revealed as quoted by The Sun, “Harry simply does not want it coming out before Christmas.”
