The SAG-AFTRA strikes have affected the production of the likes of Ryan Renolds’ Deadpool 3 and Sydney Sweeney’s Marvel debut with Madame Webb. But they aren’t the only title giants affected by the unfulfillment of demands. The famous show about Demogorgon and the game of D&D suffered an equal setback. The teen sensation lead of the show, Millie Bobby Brown, grew to fame from her debut in Stranger Things. And after unpacking and filming the role of Eleven at the age of 11, she has come a long way. The last 7 years saw the Enola Holmes actress play a pivotal role in the franchise. Following the release and hype of Season 4, the wheels for the next season are already in motion.

Amidst the new character developments and casts special announcements, the revival of the iconic battles location we saw in Season 4 pulls us a step closer to the release.

The Hawkins school is getting ready

Just a few days before, the construction for the Downtown set had only begun. It was being built at the Screen Gems’ studio parking lot. The empty parking lot quickly turned into a full-fledged Hawkins set, and the wait couldn’t get more exciting. In new updates on X, shots of the Hawkings High School buildings surfaced. Along with the report of the recreation of the High School set, the location manager was reported to have been spotted on the set. This school has seen some showdowns starting Season 1 where Eleven fought a Demogorgon and to Season 4 where the group went to prepare for their battle.

Though there haven’t been reports of the continuation of filming, the writers’ and actors’ guild strikes have kept the uncertainty on board. There are only two possibilities: either the set is being prepped for future filming, or the strikes might soon be coming to an end. Either way, it points to a positive development for the fans.

The makers of the show made a huge announcement regarding Will Byers. Not only did they point out his central role throughout all four seasons, but also declared him as the focus for Season 5. This couldn’t have come at a better time than now. Noah Schnapp, who plays the character, recently embraced his sexuality in front of the world. The exploration of his on-screen sexuality was parallelled with a bit of his off-screen experience.

Will’s character started the Demogorgon trail in Season 1, leading up to the harnessing of Eleven’s powers and using ingenious techniques like Morse Code to free him. Later on, Will was seen developing feelings for his friend Mike, exploring the intricacies of self-exploration and confusion.
