In recent times, Ryan Reynolds has been repeatedly making the headlines whether or not he is having a film. As we all know, the Deadpool star is an incredibly successful actor, but his business acumen is no less. His interest in sports is very evident, too. The Canadian actor even purchased a soccer team, Wrexham AFC, along with the Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney. Interestingly, Reynolds has now shown interest in the ice hockey team Ottawa Senators.

It seems like Reynolds’s love for sports knows no bounds. After the successful purchase of Wrexham AFC, the news of his eagerness to buy the Senators have been making the rounds. While there is no confirmation of the news, here is what the players think of the actor.

As per the latest reports, longtime owners of the ice hockey team Ottawa Senators are looking for a potential buyer. While Reynolds is clearly interested in buying the club, a few players from the team, Tim Stutzle and Cam Talbot, have expressed their views on the actor. “It is pretty exciting times. I watched couple of his movies, I think he is a funny guy so it’s great to see those things,“ said Stutzle. In addition to that, the hockey player revealed that his favorite film by the actor is Deadpool.

Elsewhere in the video, Cam Talbot talked about how everyone these days is a Ryan Reynolds fan. He added, “I don’t know what will come of it, (referring to Reynolds’s interest in buying the team) but I’m sure it will pretty cool,“ and even revealed how he is a fan of all Ryan Reynolds films and series.

Apart from Reynolds, the Toronto based brothers, Jeffrey and Michael Kimel, already expressed their interest in buying the club. Interestingly, the Deadpool star is keen to buy the club so that the team does not have to relocate.
