However, amidst the news of his cameo in Black Adam, it seems like the Enola Holmes actor has put on his Kryptonian suit for the upcoming Flash movie. According to YouTuber Syl Abdul, The Flash (film) is undergoing various reshoots, and one of them involves adding Cavill’s Superman in the movie. Apparently, the actor will feature in the film towards the end, so his part in the movie is not yet specified.

Indeed, The Man of Steel’s return is massive news for the DC fandom. Previously, Cavill starred as Superman in the 2021 film Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Considering the chaotic situation at DC, his return might be the best way to set things straight. According to rumors, Dwayne Johnson convinced Cavill to suit up as Superman in the upcoming The Flash (film).

When is The Flash releasing?

For now, The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, is scheduled to release on June 23, 2023. The film has gone through delays and reshoots so many times that fans are also doubtful about the June release.
