The era of AI is displaying its potential through Kanye West songs. While technology still has a long way to perfect itself, the beginning has already left everyone in utter surprise. The ability to pick up on someone else’s voice or use the voice to sing different tones could either be a musician’s best friend or enemy, depending upon how they use it.

At AI’s baby stage, users are still experimenting. As it turns out, a lot of them are enjoying using the ‘Donda’ singer as an example. After using his voice to rap, a user has now managed to turn the rapper into a country singer.

Kanye West turns into a country singer thanks to AI technology

Ye as a country singer can be a bit hard to imagine. But a user has taken on TikTok to post videos of the singer singing to hit numbers by singers like Zach Bryan, Morgan Walken, and Luke Combe. Songs like ‘Something in Orange’, ‘Chicken Fried’, and ‘Drinking Problem’ almost sound like Ye actually recorded them, in his deep voice. But what takes it to another level is an AI-created video that shows him dancing as well.

For example, in the ‘Something in Orange’ song, he walks around in his cowboy boots, hat, ripped jeans, and jacket to complete the countryside feel. While the ‘Flower Shops’ clip has him with his eyes closed, as he artfully performs the song on the stage with a guitar. The creator has a profile name KanyeWesternAI and often takes suggestions from fans to make different country sounds using Ye. While some fans are horrified about such a possibility, others are both horrified and happy.

Now, this is not the first time that Ye has been used for AI purposes. Another tech fan made AI create a new West song altogether.

How AI made Ye sing a song about regret

On 26th March, an AI enthusiast named Roberto Nickson formed his verses with the help of AI. He picked up reference music and trained for it to replicate West’s voice. The result was the rapper singing about his regrets and anti-Semitism and his deal loss with Adidas.

Singers can actually use this technology to form different modules and get more creative until maybe AI becomes completely independent.
