After James Gunn, Chris Pratt Teases Jumping Ships to DCU, and Fans Already Have a Role for Him
Marvel and DC have long shared a rivalry. And this rivalry has only intensified after James Gunn stepped into the role of DC’s Co-Ceo with Peter Safran. Marvel fans hail the director for bringing Star-Lord and the crew to MCU. But no one saw him switching sides to DC. Now that the Guardians of the Galaxy sub-universe is concluding, is it possible for the lead star, Chris Pratt, to accompany Gunn to the other side? In a recent interview with CBR, the actor expressed that he is not entirely against the idea.
It is not news that Gunn is rebuilding the DC verse. He has scrapped the SnyderVerse and is starting anew. In a conversation with CBR, Chris Pratt revealed that he would immediately pick up Gunn’s call and would consider his offer if he were to approach him. The two had gotten pretty close since they collaborated on three projects. “You know, he’s one of my best friends. I totally believe in him. And if he calls me, I am answering,” he teased.

The Parks and Recreation star, however, clarified that he has not had a conversation about this with Gunn. The director has not offered him any role in his soft reboot of the DC universe yet. “You know, he’s one of my best friends. I totally believe in him. And if he calls me, I am answering,” he added. The director had previously teased that he would love to work with the cast again, collectively or individually, at his “other job.“
As for the characters he can play, Pratt has left it to the fans’ decision. He would humbly play any character that his fans want to see him play!
