Ever since the announcement of Deadpool 3, all Ryan Reynolds fans, including us, can barely contain our excitement. Apart from Hugh Jackman’s appearance in the film, the audience is also looking forward to a new director taking over the franchise. The two have also collaborated on Free Guy and The Adam Project. Recently, there has been conjecture that Shawn Levy (Executive Producer of Stranger Things) is also all set to make a Star Wars film. Is Ryan Reynolds likely to be in Shawn Levy’s Star Wars?
Star Wars as a movie franchise has seen its fair share of ups and downs. While some films like the original trilogy and the newest entrant Andor, have knocked it out of the park, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and a few others will go down in history as blemishes on the epic series. Nevertheless, even a hint of a new addition to the franchise has the fans jump up with joy; even if nothing is confirmed yet.
In Free Guy and The Adam Project, there is one more common thread apart from the Ryan Reynolds-Shawn Levy combination. Both the films feature a spoof/homage to the Star Wars films. A lightsabre action sequence coupled with Reynold’s signature humor makes those sequences in the both the films pretty memorable. No wonder there is much chatter about the Green Lantern actor leading Levy’s space opera film.

“That would be a hard thing to say no to, but honestly – I’m not making this up – it’s not something I’ve ever thought of.”
