The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will soon step into production. But the creative team has already started teasing fans about what to expect from it. Their previous hints about season 5 have only indicated that the horror drama is on its way to massive fireworks. Considering the cliffhanger it left viewers with, there is only one chance left for Duffer Brothers to make this show an even bigger phenomenon than it has been all these years. The photo shared by the Stranger Things Writers on Twitter showed Joseph Quinn in his Eddie Munson avatar winking at the camera. Seeing his picture after months of speculation and theories about his return was the biggest surprise for fans. 

We all know that the beloved Metalhead was sacrificed in the Upside Down battle against Vecna. In order to distract the demobats, he offered himself as bait and was ultimately killed. Nevertheless, his fandom did not lose hope and continued proposing different ideas and ways he could still return to the show.

You probably remember how the audience constantly demanded his return, even though Shawn Levy clarified that his return is highly unlikely. Now, this single glimpse of their beloved Eddie Munson has turned the internet upside down. Fans are defending him from the people who do not want the actor to make a comeback.
