A ‘Power Ranger’ Reunion Before Cosmic Fury? Here Is Everything You Need to Know About ‘Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers’ Episode Coming to Netflix in April 2023
On National Power Rangers Day executive producer and showrunner, Simon Bennett revealed his plans to bring the 30th season of Power Rangers. In the video released last year, Hasbro and eOne announced that the show will be titled will be Cosmic Fury. The Dino Fury cast will be reprising their roles and the show will be headed to Netflix in 2023. Since then, fans have been waiting eagerly for the arrival of this adventure that will take them into space and across the galaxy. However, it appears viewers will first reunite with their favorite Mighty Morphin rangers before Dino Fury. Are you excited to rewatch all the retro moves and actions in a new style?
In January, the official page of Power Ranger dropped a video to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this highly acclaimed franchise, they interviewed the cast and crew members. The video revealed that the show will reunite new and old Ranger teams to fight an old enemy invading the planet. Now there is only one month left before the new installment drops on Netflix.

Giving you a reminder, this popular show originally premiered in 1993. The series featured six superheroes with multi-colored costumes and weapons. Not to forget this storyline popularized the Japanese Super Sentai and brought huge fandom to the franchise. It has inspired three movies, including the 2017 Power Rangers starring Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks, and Bill Hader.
Written by Alwyn Dale and Becca Barnes, the reunion series will premiere on Netflix on April 19.

‘The former cast members returning to the world fighters and aliens include David Yost (Blue Ranger), Karan Ashley (Yellow Ranger), Walter Jones (Black Ranger), Johnny Yong Bosch (Green Ranger), and Catherine Sutherland as Kat (Pink Ranger). On the other hand, Richard Horvitz will play Alpha 5 and Barbara Goodson as the classic villain Rita Repulsa.
As for Jason David Frank, there is no confirmation if the creators will give him a tribute. The American actor committed suicide in a hotel in Houston last year.
