7-Year-Old Incident Put Oscar Winner Gwyneth Paltrow Under Legal Trial
It seems like skiing is not such an easy task for the A-list stars after all. And sliding down the snowy mountains may sometimes lead them to courtrooms as well, with some serious allegations. If you are keeping up with the headlines, you certainly know we are talking about an accusation against the American businesswoman and actress, Gwyneth Paltrow and the trials that are currently going on in the courtroom of Park City, Utah.
For the unversed, here are the details. A retired optometrist, Terry Sanderson who is 76-year-old now has accused the actress of causing him severe injuries during a vacation at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. According to the accuser, she collided with him while skiing and left him with injuries such as “broken ribs, and permanent traumatic brain injury,” and even robbed him of the plain joys of life.
He also claimed that Paltrow exhibited a really casual attitude towards the whole accident and kept on skiing with her entourage.

Gwyneth Paltrow counter-slams Sanderson, accusing him of false allegations
Updates on the same, as reported by New York Post, confirm that Paltrow’s lawyer, Steve Owens, also came back swinging, counter-suing Sanderson for slamming wrong allegations and violating moral grounds. He claimed that his client is “obsessed” with the case and affirms that these are allegations of no merit and great offense. The lawyer also accused him of causing her a full-body hit that left the actress with minor injuries because of which she could not ski the next day.

However, Paltrow confessed that he apologized to her the other day. The Academy Award winner has reportedly sought $1 from her opponent for symbolic damages and attorney fees.

Notably, 21 March 2023 marked the second day of the trials and we are yet to receive any further updates on the same. Furthermore, the incident took place back in 2016, and per New York Post, Paltrow also alleged that Sanderson does not remember the accident well, and claimed that she only left the resort after an employee confirmed Sanderson’s wellness and explicitly mentioned that she could depart.
