Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are busy trying to do the damage control. In the past two years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been extremely critical of King Charles III, Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. However, they always made sure to not speak anything against Queen Elizabeth II to show respect towards the institution and the monarch.

However, with Charles as the new head, Harry and Meghan’s strategy has gone for a toss. We expect the couple to reveal a lot of truth bombs about Harry’s father, brother, and their spouses in the upcoming memoir and Netflix docuseries. They will now be directly criticizing the King and Queen consort, which can massively upset the Palace and close all doors of reconciliation.

However, their plans will be scuppered if the King and Queen Consort get upset with the things written in the memoir and the show. Therefore, they are now rushing to tone down the two things and not be too harsh on the monarchy. In an attempt to make amends, they have also parted ways with their PR firm Sunshine Sachs

“The Queen has now died and Charles and Camilla are the King and Queen. Clearly, this reconciliation attempt would never work if they have been critical of the new monarch, or both,” a source was quoted as saying by The Sun.

Royal author Robert Jobson elaborated his views on the situation, saying that Meghan and Harry have gone completely wrong with their plot for a year of reconciliation. He also believes that Prince Harry has lost the trust of King Charles III and the couple will never be able to win it back.
