Brad Pitt reunites with David Michôd for an upcoming Netflix project

The post-apocalyptic genre is about to witness a new spectacle. The 59-year-old actor will soon be starring in the upcoming project on the streamer Desolation Run. Desolation Run partly draws inspiration from the popular film series Mad Max. This will be the second time the actor will be collaborating with director David Michôd, who will serve as the front-runner of the project. Before Desolation Run, the duo worked together on the 2017 film War Machine. 

As per reports by Giant Freakin Robot, the upcoming post-apocalyptic drama on Netflix will circle around the life of lone wanderer Ryan Creeds played by Brad Pitt. The film will take us through the adventures of Creeds as he tries to escape a brutal desert wasteland. Throughout his journey, Creeds is accompanied by cunning mechanic Elara, who he teams up with to escape the desert.

As of late, the only update we have about the project is the actor’s involvement. Netflix is yet to disclose the release dates or any other celebrities involved in the project. Meanwhile, prior to Desolation Run, one of the films by the actor set the bar high when it made its way to Netflix.
