Human Resources: First Look Into Netflix’s Big Mouth Spinoff
Netflix has released the first look of Human Resources, the spinoff to show Big Mouth, and is going to launch the show next month. After quite a wait, the spinoff show is heading to the streaming platform very soon. The television series explores the daily lives of creatures like Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, and many more, which help human’s life journey through various aspects of life from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years.
Human Resources is an adult sitcom by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett, set in a workplace in the world of monsters. The show will premiere on Netflix on March 18th, 2022.
In a conversation with Inverse, Mark Levin, the executive producer of the series, says, “We pitched it to Netflix as ‘Big Mouth meets The Office. We wanted to expand the Big Mouth universe. To support other people who have their own stories to tell and help them with our skills. We’re working with a bunch of writers to figure out a way to tell the best versions of their stories.”

Look inside the magical world of Human Resources
Netflix Golden shares a quick clip from the show on Twitter, giving us the first look into the new show. In this clip, we meet different departments in human relations, which include Hormone Monsters, Shame Wizards, Love Bugs, Depression Kittys, and Logic Rocks. A lot of the characters from Big Mouth are also present in Human Resources.
As the show explains, life on Earth can be very complicated. That’s why people from workers from Human Relations work with humans to make their life easy. They will assign clients to them and they will take their service from there. Workers working on Human Resources are all essential workers “who make humans human, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, 1000 years a millennium.”

The Human Resources voice cast
Big Mouth characters returning to the spinoff are Thandie Newton as Mona the Hormone Monstress, Jemaine Clement as Simon Sex, Maria Bamford as Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, and Bobby Cannavale as Gavin the Hormone Monster.

The previously added cast include Nick Kroll Maurice, Maya Rudolph, Randall Park as Pete, Aidy Bryant, and Keke Palmer. The new cast includes Rosie Perez and Henry Winkler.
