Kanye West may not be poor yet, but his properties tell the story of his rise and fall. The ‘Donda’ singer, who rose from humble beginnings, managed to create his own billion-dollar empire by his 40s. Now, one of the biggest dreams of any successful personality is to buy one jaw-dropping property by the Malibu beach, and Ye was no exception.

Living life King size, the rapper would buy mansions, ranch, and more worth millions of dollars all around the country. But the current times are not in his favor and the wealth decline is only uncovering the degradation of unkept valuables. One of the biggest examples is his $57 million Malibu beach house.

How the $57 dollar Malibu beach house never saw its completion

It was during his glory period that Ye made headlines for purchasing a Malibu beach house for $57 million. As per Highsnobeity, the initial listing price was $75 million and was brought down to the aforementioned amount. He purchased this Tadao Ando-designed home after selling off his Wyoming ranch for $11 million. But the controversies and ultimate split with Adidas took out a big chunk of his wealth. Cutting down the budget, lack of support, and profits left the project incomplete. Like some of his properties, this one is also piled in dust, uncovered, and rotting due to outer elements. The humidity of the beach, particles, and seagulls are only adding negatively.

The 4000 sq ft home can be seen mirroring Ye’s style, with large ceiling mirrors giving a surreal view of the beach. His renovation plans came to an abrupt halt, leaving the home in a worse condition than it was when acquired. Neighbors assure the speculation by stating how they have not seen anyone come by in a while.

As of today, there has been no progress, while Ye remains busy with his new life and challenges. But wealth decline does not mean he has gone broke either.

Losing a billion dollars has still left the ‘Gold Digger’ singer with millions of dollars. The singer has in fact been living in some high-end properties around with his new wife Bianca Censori. He spent quality time at the $2000/ per night hotel Nobu Ryokan in Malibu recently. His honeymoon gateway was at the ultra-private and luxurious resort, Amangiri at Canyon Point, which cost $3000- $5000/ per night. Meanwhile, the fate of his Malibu home remains in the dark.
