Kanye West has sold a $4.5 million mansion that he never lived in. The ‘Donda’ rapper is known for living a life of luxury, with big ambitions and multi-million dollar worth of properties. But change in times and controversies led him to lose his billionaire status, and brought a halt to many of his projects. After months of staying away from the limelight, he is now sorting out his assets.

The paparazzi give regular updates on his Malibu beach house, left halfway due to his financial problems. While the Tadao Ando project came to a halt, he has not sold off his $4.5 million home. The property that he once purchased right opposite to ex Kim Kardashian’s house has been let go at a major loss.

Celebrities often buy properties as investments, but Kanye West faced a loss on his. According to Dirt, the rapper has taken a loss by selling his Hidden Hills mansion. Property records reveal that the property has been sold at  $4.25 million, with Ye bearing a loss of $250,000. The house was purchased about 18 months ago for $4.5 million after he and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian first separated. Although the price is exclusive of taxes and other charges.

He moved on the same road as the Kardashian mansion to co-parent their four kids and manage things easily. But as per a source, he never spent a single night at his new purchase. The entertainer had also purchased two ranches in Wyoming which are now left in the dust. The rapper is likely working his way back to his old lifestyle after the cheques stopped coming in due to controversies.

But these multi-million dollar purchases are still pale in comparison to his Malibu beach house.

Ye and Kim Kardashian’s LA home became a wonder for its architectural details. Similar was the plan for his $57 million Malibu home. Unfortunately, it remains swamped with dust, and debris today. Ye wanted to completely redesign it as per Tadao Ando’s plan, but the dream remained incomplete.

He never returned to the ambitious project, just like the rest of his properties. Meanwhile, he shifted to an apartment close to his Yeezy office on Melrose Avenue with his wife, Bianca Censori. However, with money flowing in from Yeezy products, it is unsure why he took a loss on his Hidden Hills mansion.
