The demise of fashion designer Virgil Abloh two years back shook everyone to the core in the industry. From the Hadid sisters to the Kardashians, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton was dear to everyone. Industry giants, including Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, were not trailing either. The couple went for an outing in streetwear clothes to pay tribute to Abloh, a few days after he passed away.

The couple chose a rather subtle way to honor the inspirational fashion designer. Two years following that, a member of the Deadpool actor’s favorite K-pop band has become an integral part of the fashion house.

From the Deadpool actor walking in Abloh’s Off-White trainers to Louis Vuitton gifting an expensive handbag to his wife, their investment in the brand is no secret. And now, a member of Reynold’s favorite K-pop band has also made his way into playing an essential role in the leading international fashion house. Louis Vuitton recently made an announcement confirming their new house ambassador. They posted a picture of the Stray Kids’ star, Felix, who was dressed in Louis Vuitton merchandise from top to bottom.

The creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, said in a statement that he is thrilled that Felix is joining Louis Vuitton.” However, this is not the first time Felix associated himself with LV. On 29th April, LV invited Felix as a special guest in its women’s pre-fall show in Seoul. He flaunted an LV Bubble Damier Trucker Jacket in his recent show for Stray Kids 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023 in Japan. With that being said, it is understandable why the K-pop sensation is an ideal choice for the new Louis Vuitton house ambassador.
