Just Days After Kanye West Blasted on Journalists, the Rapper Is Hit With a Major Lawsuit for a Karefa Johnson Picture in 2022
Kanye West has been hit with yet another lawsuit. Apart from being a full-time rapper, the entertainer is building quite the image for his never-ending barrage of lawsuits. A lot happened before the ‘Donda’ singer went underground for his controversial comments. He attacked several celebrities that did not share his opinions on different things. While he is slowly making a comeback now, the past is also catching up to him.
While he is back at work, Ye continues to have a love-and-hate relationship with the media. He recently lashed out at one of them for following him. But one of them is now suing him for a matter related to his rivalry with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.

Ye caused a storm last year when he appeared along with Candace Johnson at the Paris Fashion Week wearing the White Lives Matter t-shirt. It did what it was supposed to, causing massive outrage and criticism from many celebrities. One of them was Vogue’s fashion editor, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. According to TMZ, a photographer by the name Michaela Efford is suing him for using the photograph she clicked, without her consent. The photo of Karefa-Johnson that she clicked was posted by Ye on his Instagram to make fun of the fashionista.
The fashionista first called his t-shirt an ‘act of pure violence’. Ye hit back by posting several photos of her, making fun of her style in a now-deleted Instagram post. But Efford has the right to the photos he used, and she claimed that it has affected her negatively and monetarily. She now seeks an unrevealed amount of damages for the photo as she is unable to monetize it now.
This is certainly not the first time that Ye has had an issue with a paparazzo. Just a few weeks ago, one photographer called the cops on him.

When a woman tried to click a photo of Kanye West, he was upset and walked up to her, grabbed her phone, and threw it away. She filed a complaint for battery assault against him, and an investigation began. The case was settled and dropped, eventually, but it seems that Ye has had enough of the media following him everywhere.
When a journalist followed him on his last Sunday Church Service, he lashed at him asking him to stop following. As for this new lawsuit, Ye needs to wait for the outcome.
