It is no surprise that Ice Spice adores Taylor Swift. The two were spotted at the 2023 VMAs in their own little worlds, however, they seemed to be having a good time. Now, months later, the rapper got into a debate with her longtime friend and collaborator, Riot. From talking about their favorite performers to the best parties they have been to, the duo opened up about all of it.

While most people would expect the rapper and the hip-hop producer to have chosen some rap legends, the two went different ways. They ended up naming some of pop’s biggest icons and one of them was the ‘Bad Blood’ singer.

Ice Spice and Riot pick their GOATs

On an episode of Complex’s Goat Talk, Ice Spice, and Riot were asked to answer a few questions based on their preferences. One of the questions was who they thought was the GOAT pop star, to which the 23-year-old immediately responded with, “My sis, Taylor.” While the producer agreed, he chose another King of the music industry.

Riot ended up choosing the former ‘King Of Pop’, Michael Jackson as the GOAT performer. While it came as no surprise that the rising stars chose some of the biggest artists the world has ever seen, the questions did not stop there. The duo was also asked questions like the best party they had been to, who their favorite hip-hop producer was, and more.

From the likes of Kanye West to having to pick their favorite Ice Spice song, they surprised the world with their choices. However, it was Ice Spice’s love for Taylor Swift that stole the show.

Ice Spice is BFFs with Taylor Swift

A month ago, Ice Spice got candid about her friendship with Taylor Swift. While the world had gotten a glimpse of them together at the VMAs, their friendship had been kept under wraps until recently. She revealed to Variety that the two had a wonderful time chatting and “sipping on a little something something.” The duo ended up ruling the meme world for weeks after the award ceremony and fans absolutely loved it.

Before Ice Spice came out with love for the ‘Fearless’ artist, Swift emailed the publication saying that she “relates to Ice in many ways.” However, she continued that it was “her dedication and focus” that blew the star away. While most people would be starry eyed if the 12-time Grammy winner had something like that to say about them, it was just another compliment from her friend for the rapper.
