Taking to Instagram, the TV personality commented on such an article she was tagged on.

“I’m a couple days late to this tag.. but didn’t the press try this last week w Selena?” she asked in the comment, before mentioning how the gang is happy for Swift.

The shutting down of rumors comes as a joint statement of sorts from the group. Notably, the duo’s friendship has a history of its own that dates back years. Hadid met Swift, more than a decade back at an Oscars afterparty. The model also starred in the latter’s ‘Bad Blood’ music video back in 2014.

The media rumors and the subsequent response from the singer’s friends stemmed from recent developments in their relationship which had interesting roots.

Although he failed then, his fortune came full circle when, after a slew of developments, the duo finally made their relationship public.

Following it, Swift attended many of the Kansas City Chiefs’ matches. At one time, she was even accompanied by Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman. Soon after, the pair made waves after holding hands following a Saturday Night Live appearance. Among the most recent developments were Swift kissing Kelce on an Instagram post and a dinner in Argentina.
