But considering his controversies, the singer is going through a financial crisis and many celebrities have turned against him. So the possibility of a surprising release always remains. Now, videos of him singing covers of Princess Alba and Paloma Mami have begun going viral on the internet. But is it legitimate or a fake video? Here is the truth behind the videos.
Did Kanye West really sample music in the Spanish language?
Technology has brought us to a stage where the sanest of minds will question reality. Unfortunately, it has also affected singers considering how easy it has become to create a fake song. According to BBCL, the videos are not real but rather a work of AI. A simple use of technology created a video where Ye is singing ‘Convecte’ by ‘Princess Alba’ and ‘Not Steady’ by Palma Mami. In fact, the first song’s clip even shows him signing the song on a stage, with a mike in his hand.
Apparently, one can create their own new song by using the tool Diff SVC. One just has to select a singer’s voice and add the desired lyrics to it. In recent times, it has also led to the creation of a hoax photo of Pope Francis wearing a ballooned-up white jacket. Then came the hoax news of former President Donald J. Trump being arrested, as a result of a fake photo.

In the case of West, this is not the first time music has been created using his voice.
AI once made Ye sing an apology song over his comments
A user who experimented with AI created a profile dedicated to producing fake West songs. He even penned down lyrics of Ye being apologetic about his anti-Semitic views and the Adidas deal. For that, he simply selected a tone and used Ye’s voice. “I attacked a whole religion all because of my ignorance,” said the lyrics. Fans were surprised, shocked, and unsure whether it was real or not. While this is all interesting, there are now concerns over the wrong usage of such technology.
