After four years of sweat and tears, the American animated superhero film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse beat all expectations. After the success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it was not easy for the makers to produce an equally impressive film. However, with a whopping rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, it is safe to say that the movie is a blockbuster. While one could credit the success of the movie to Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and the three new directors’ creative geniuses, the soundtrack of the 2023 movie deserves attention too.

The Marvel movie turned many heads with its take on rap influences within animated movies. American record producer Metro Boomin delivered one of his best works in the movie that inspired Kanye West Protégé to jump on the bandwagon.

Metro Boomin released his album for the Marvel movie on 2nd June, right after the release of Spider-Man. He turned a dream into reality by introducing some of the most influential rappers, including A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, and many more in the franchise. After the collaborated success of ‘METRO BOOMIN PRESENTS SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE’, Travis Scott posted a Tweet expressing his interest in lending his music to one of Marvel’s popular characters.

As per the Tweet, Scott wants to do the soundtrack for one of the most delayed MCU movies, Blade. The ‘Rodeo’ creator wrote, “Woke up thinking I would love to do the soundtrack to Blade”. The 32-year-old just produced his highly anticipated album ‘Utopia’ in July, which ranked at the top on the Billboard 200 chart. And the surprising appearance of West at his ‘Utopia’ concert took the hype around the album to the next level. Owing to such success, there is a fighting chance that MCU might sign the rapper for their upcoming venture.
