Money Heist season 5 is not going to be on our popular streaming platform Netflix in the following month, but when is it coming?

Money Heist, originally named La Casa de Papel, is one of the most popular Spanish–language series on Netflix. Debuting on the streaming giant back in May 2017, the series was a massive success for Netflix. Not only fans but also critics loved this finger-biting thriller series. Therefore, it was a no-brainer for Netflix to go on with more seasons.

They released the second season in October 2017, quite close to the initial release of Money Heist. Then came the third and fourth seasons in July 2019 and April 2020, respectively. Even though the pandemic affected the production process of Money Heist, they finished filming it last month. Therefore, fans are waiting for the next season of Money Heist to debut as soon as it can. Unfortunately, we won’t see it on Netflix in July 2021. However, we already have a release date in our hands. Two release dates, to be precise.

Upon finishing the filming process, the Money Heist crew announced the release date of season 5. They are going to release the next season in two parts, therefore we have two release dates.

The first part is going to be on Netflix on September 3. The second part, on the other hand, will be released on December 3.

There will be ten episodes in the next season of Money Heist. Therefore, we assume they’ll break it up into two halves. This means five episodes in the first part and five more in the second part.

When we look at the latest situation, photos and trailers, it’s evident that there’s going to be havoc. While the date announcement trailer shows us a heavy gunfight, the photos shared by Netflix confirm it, too.

They recently released the first-look photos at Money Heist season 5. Soon after, they shared three more photos from the new season. We see some serious action in all of those photos, as the crew is fully armed and waiting for the law enforcement forces to go in. The government’s side, too, is prepared for heavy and violent action against our group.

It seems the Professor’s hands are tied given the ending of the fourth season and the apparent situation the team is in. Normally, they would take a lighter approach, as the Professor has his plans lined up for whatever’s going to happen. It seems to be different this time, but you never know what this criminal mastermind has in his mind.

The expectations are naturally high to see how this chain of events is going to be untied. Fans expect Netflix to give them a great finale, living up to the legacy of this famous thriller. We’ll see how they will do when the final season of Money Heist is released in September and December.
