Fans of celebrities leave no stone unturned when it comes to commemorating new films by the actors. Commenting on the trailers on Youtube or re-tweeting them on Twitter is one of the foremost activities a fan does.

But in the new trailer for the Netflix Original, The Man From Toronto, people are blatantly denying Kevin and Woody of the title. The reason fans have given is that if they genuinely claim to be from Toronto, they should sound like one.

What is happening in the trailer is that both Kevin and Woody are pronouncing it as Toronto with the second ‘T.’ In contrast, natives of the Canadian City actually do not pronounce the double T. They just say ‘Torono.’ Many Canadians have instantly picked up on this slight discrepancy and have pointed it out in the comments.

Users pointed it out saying to be a true Canadian one has to say Torono no matter what. And now that Kevin and Woody haven’t said t properly. Thus they are not Canadian in the real sense.

Many others have also come forward to say the same and even point out that Torono is just like how Americans say Alana instead of Atlanta.

A user also comments that hearing the second T is just hilarious to him.
