Netflix has really started to take their Original films seriously. Not only are they acquiring amazing scripts from film festivals, but they are also producing original content of their own. One of the most fascinating new films by the streaming service is Lift starring Kevin Hart. The film is currently in the middle of its production, with the cast traveling all around the globe to shoot.
However, all the new details about the film point out that it isn’t going to be your everyday action thriller. In fact, the film’s leading actor, Kevin himself, asked us to be prepared for the surprises that the film will bring.
Let us see what the 42-year-old comedian said about the film.
Kevin Hart feels Lift is going to be unique
Over the years, with films like Roma, tick, tick…BOOM! and Power of The Dog Netflix has proved their ability to bring cinematic masterpieces to the audiences. And now, with Lift, it seems as if the streaming giant has something entirely different planned for the viewers.
Kevin Hart, who stars as an exceptional thief in the film who the FBI and his ex-girlfriend hire to carry out a robbery for them in mid-air, has shared a new photo from the sets of the film.
Even though Kevin Hart looks absolutely dashing in the picture with the backdrop of gorgeous mountains, it is the caption that has intrigued all of us. In the Facebook post, Kevin writes, “This movie is going to hit different….mark my words “Lift.”
The caption and the picture alone have our mouth-watering about the prospect of the film. On paper, the movie sounds too good to be true with actors like Vincent D’Onofrio, Billy Magnussen, and Úrsula Corberó attached to it. And with F. Gary Gray directing it, the film certainly is the one to look out for.
Apart from a stunning cast, the film is literally shot all over the globe. Recently Kevin was seen shooting in the beautiful city of Venice with the Spiderman actor Jacob Batalon.
Now we do not know in what capacity did Kevin mean “different,” but the incredible cast and location must have to do something with it.
