Inventing Anna hit Netflix early in the year and skyrocketed fake heiress Anna Delvey to fame. Anna Sorokin, better known as Anna Delvey, became a household name after the Shonda Rhimes production started trending on Netflix. Since it was a limited series, fans were not expecting a season 2. However, when Deadline reported that the swindler was working on yet another docuseries, fans were happily surprised when!

Inventing Anna brings to light the tantalizing story of fraud, deception, and betrayal. It is based on Anna, a Soho grifter who pretended to be a fake German Heiress. Promising her acquaintances and friends of great inherited wealth she duped many. The limited Netflix series stars Julia Garner in the titular role, while Anna Chlumsky plays Jessica Pressler. Anna wouldn’t be a sensation today if it wasn’t for the expose Pressler wrote for New York Magazine.
