Netflix has been quietly introducing interactive films in recent years, but with the release of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, they exposed the public to their new storytelling style.

Most of Netflix’s interactive specials are set in existing series’ universes. But Bandersnatch stands on its own because Black Mirror is an anthology show, and the You vs. Wild franchise is just Bear Grylls hamming it up in nature. Players in this interactive adventure reality series must make critical decisions to assist the survivalist extraordinaire in completing missions in the harshest environments on Earth.

The Last Kids on Earth: Happy Apocalypse to You

The Last Kids on Earth: Happy Apocalypse to You follows the characters of the series. Jack, the brave leader of the show last kids on earth, wants to throw a party for his crush June, so the four heroes go through the monster-infested wasteland in search of party supplies such as cake, balloons. Happy Apocalypse to You has a few branching options, but the ultimate outcome is still pretty much Instant Failure or Success.
