‘How I Met Your Mother’ Star Neil Patrick Harris Returning on Netflix With Darren Star’s Comedy Series ‘Uncoupled’
Have you been missing Neil Patrick Harris on your screens? Well, the good news is, he’s back. And in a comedy again! He’s best known for playing the ultimate bachelor in town, Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother. And he’s going back to his comedy roots again in the Netflix comedy, Uncoupled. This marks his second collaboration with the streamer. The man has played the villainous Olaf in A Series of Unfortunate Events. The series ended in 2019.
What is the plot of the show – Uncoupled?
The show follows Michael who believed his marriage was going all so well, until his husband, a hedge fund manager, Colin tells him it’s over and leaves him. After 17 years of marriage, Michael is devastated. He finds himself single again in his mid-forties in New York City.

The streamer just-released first look photos and a teaser for the show.
In the teaser, Michael takes his frustration out on a bouquet of flowers, but he catches a handsome hunk’s eye in the meantime. To deal with his new single life, he goes skating, dancing, and hangs out with his friends. The teaser does give off a cheerful vibe.
Patrick looks like he’s in a social gathering. He is taking the idea to mingle seriously.

Who is starring beside Neil Patrick Harris?
Patrick is obviously playing the titular role, but joining him will be Tisha Campbell (Martin) Emerson Brooks (The Last Ship) Brooks Ashmanskas (The Good Love Bird), and Marcia Gay Harden (The Morning Show).
When will Uncoupled arrive on Netflix?

The eight-part series, Uncoupled, is going to drop on Netflix on July 29. Darren Star, the man behind Sex and the City and Emily in Paris is creating the series. Jeffrey Richman is also co-creating the series with him. Richman has previously worked on Frasier and Modern Family. Patrick is also donning the executive producer hat for this one. Star, Richman, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns are all executive producers on the show. Both Burns and Tony have worked with Star before in his previous shows, Emily in Paris and Younger.
