Zack Snyder Sings Songs of Praise for ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Squid Game’ in Front of Russo Brothers for Having This One Quality
Who does not know the name Zack Snyder? He is an American artist, filmmaker, and visionary human. Some of his famous works include interesting DC films. Despite being an amazing filmmaker, Snyder believes we are in a golden age of TV shows with reference to two of the major shows, Euphoria and Squid Game.
The 57-year-old cinematographer recently appeared on Pizza Film School with the Russo Brothers. These three artists talked about screenwriting and direction, including almost all the major components of creating a film. During their conversation, the Russo Brothers asked about how Justice League came to vision. And as Snyder started talking about the birth of the film, he also talked about how the studio wanted to change his vision.

As he was talking about it, Anthony Russo talked about how movie-making and storytelling only worked if they astonished people. Agreeing with Russo, the Dawn of the Dead creator said, “That’s why I think we’re in a golden age of TV.” He explained the reason and said how TV shows were better. Because they would catch you off balance or would make a turn that you would not see coming. He added the reference to Euphoria as he believed the show to be unbelievable.
Joe Russo agreed with Snyder and said if Euphoria would have been a film, only 1/3 of the viewers would have watched it. The 300 director said the same for Squid Game as well. Discussing the different formats of TV shows and films, they touched upon how TV show has more watching hours and ultimately time to develop the story than the films. Therefore, they get different emotional impacts.

Apart from Euphoria, what did Zack Snyder say about Justice League?
Before the film hit the theaters with an alternative conclusion, did you know the studio wanted the director to add comic elements to it? As the director himself admitted in this interview, the cut that he made was a little more intense. Therefore, the studio wanted to add comic elements to keep the viewers in the loop and avoid surprising them.
