Zack Snyder Reveals His Intention Was to Make 6 Different Parts for ‘Justice League’ to Directors Joe and Anthony Russo
The DC Universe has recently gone through a huge change. While fans are angry and disappointed with Henry Cavill’s Superman gone, they are also not happy with the axing of Snyderverse. The new bosses have axed Zack Snyder’s Justice League. However, fans still love the film and want more of it too. Amidst the confusing status of the film, the 57-year-old director opened up about his original plan for the DC flick.
Recently, Zack Snyder appeared on Pizza Film School with the Russo Brothers. They exclusively talked about Snyder Cut and how the American filmmaker created the fan-favorite movie. While talking about the creative differences between him and the studio, Snyder revealed he originally wanted to create six different films released.

But he could not make it because there were some legal rules which he did not touch upon deeply. However, what he did reveal was the studio could not afford to pay people six times. Therefore, they axed the idea and went with the film that we all have seen till now.
Although when Joe Russo expressed the possibility of the six-movie version, Snyder agreed with him.
Zack Snyder talked about the IMAX version of Justice League
During the interview, the 300 director talked about the film being a chaptered version. Therefore, it would have made sense to make the film in that format. However, because the studio did not agree on the plan, Snyder created an IMAX version of it. The four-hour-long film has a classic 15-minute intermission, too.

During the intermission, he set a cool suit in the center that plays for 15 whole minutes. Although Justice League has more than one version, reportedly, Snyder’s Cut is the closest adaptation of the comic book story. Moreover, critics praised Snyder’s direction, visual style, action sequences, and performances. They also appreciated the improved characterizations, musical score, and balance of emotional weight and humor. However, the runtime of the film received some criticism.
