“You have to earn it” – 75-Year-Old Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals How His Father’s Discipline Still Helps Him
Arnold Schwarzenegger has always credited his childhood and the hardships for his success. Having attained his American dream, the senior entertainer still grabs onto his roots and takes pride in it. That evidently helped him not only to become a bodybuilder, but a successful actor, and the Governor of California. In his 70s now, he continues to work despite being successful and a millionaire.
The modern times may not agree with or support the hardcore methods of previous generations, but the actor swears by them even today. Ahead of his upcoming Netflix debut, the actor opened up about how habits from his young years are applied to this day.

Arnold Schwarzenegger remains a flag bearer in the industry for discipline and motivation. However, he credits his father with that discipline. The actor revealed to Entertainment Tonight in an interview, how the strictness of his father helped him. As per him, his father would make him do 200 sit-ups and push-ups. “You cannot have breakfast first, you have to earn it,” his father would say to him everything morning. That has been the routine that he grew up with. Today, his habits are an inspiration for people around the world.
Whether it is 3am or 5am and despite all his work commitments, he finds an hour to work out or just go cycling. He puts pressure on the thought that not only do actors have to go to the gym to bulk up, but that every individual should make it a part of life.
While the real-life actor played a good son, his reel life in Fubar also has the same amount of activeness and action. But perhaps with a tint of humor to it.

Just like his real life, his character in Fubar returns to work instead of enjoying a retired life. In his free time, he writes free newsletters that help fans all over the world. In addition, his fitness helps him play action-filled roles, since the Netflix series, which has a surprising connection with Schwarzenegger’s film from the 90s, has him play the role of a retired FBI agent.
During the pandemic, he also picked up the habit of cycling. Today, he lives a mostly vegan diet and has changed his regime as per age.
