Wrexham striker recently sat down with his co-mate Ben Foster on his podcast show to talk about the changes Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have brought to the soccer team. During this discussion, they drew a comparison between this duo and Ed Sheeran paying tribute to their owners. The team player talked about how the English singer has been a part of this industry for years.
“Ed Sheeran, Ipswich. I don’t know what his share of it is, [he’s] part-owner. Has he done what these two guys have done?” Palmer said. In his response, his co-host stated that the Grammy winner is nowhere near the Hollywood duo. Moreover, the 31-year-old continued praising the Free Guy star and his BFF for putting so much effort into Wrexham AFC.
Well, this is not the first time any of the team members have lauded the Red Notice star as Ben Foster keeps on giving glimpses of his bond with Reynolds to fans. However, it certainly is the first time the comments made by them have enraged people. All the Ipswich fans are bashing Ollie Palmer for making such claims about their beloved musician.

Many fans shared the clip of the Wrexham player saying that he should not have mentioned the ‘Shape of You’ singer in this conversation. They find it annoying how the duo tried to bring their owners into the limelight by dragging Ed Sheeran down.
