The fame of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney has allowed Wrexham AFC to come out from its underdog image. More than two years have passed since these two invested a huge share of their money into this club. Not to mention, the duo has constantly made efforts to popularize this team to bring them back to the game. From social media shout-outs to planned strategies to strengthen the club, they have done everything. However, it looks like their attempts aren’t going the right way this time, as Wrexham has a huge problem standing ahead of them.

The leader of the club Phil Parkinson recently sat down with a Welsh newspaper to talk about the transfer of new players to the team. In this conversation, he revealed that they have approached several players and clubs. Sadly, things are not quite turning out the way they thought. He said they do have a good squad right now but getting better players is becoming “really tough” for them, reported Mirror.

The former footballer continued that if the players they want for the team become available, they would do anything to get them. However, things are currently taking time to fall into place for various reasons. Not to mention, the Canadian superstar is busy shooting his highly anticipated film Deadpool 3 and won’t be able to witness Wrexham’s League Two beginning.
