Matthew Perry, a few years back, had himself tethered to the fringes of life. It is no secret that he long faced troubles with addiction, leading to a questionable frail appearance on the Friends Season 7 premiere. His opioid and alcohol addiction had caused that look decades back and again in 2018, overuse swallowed him into a two-week-long coma where doctors gave him a two percent chance of survival.

After miraculously making it back from being on life support or the “Hail Mary,” as he called it, Perry took off on a quest to be sober. In what would come as a sight of abundant relief and joy, the actor seems to have kept his word and is surely on a quest to recovery. Moreover, the actor found himself in rehab fifteen times, and in detox, 65 times. Along with it, fourteen surgeries, including one that left him with a six-inch-long incision, are a testament to his quest for survival.
