His presence was hard to notice owing to how the game unfolded this football season, like a full-fledged thriller with Reynolds, McElhenney, and the Wrexham FC team emerging as heroes. However, as he makes his return to the big screen, the actor is planning on bringing his team’s top shots, Paul Mullin and Ben Foster, along with him.

At first, the actor sported a Wrexham baseball cap as he filmed a promotional trailer for his action flick. And to hype things further, Ben Foster himself testified to the prospect of himself appearing in Deadpool 3 alongside Hugh Jackman.

“He’s even said that he’ll put me in the new one with him and Big Hugh Jacko, friggin’ Wolverine,” Foster said according to DailyMail.

While Reynolds is making big promises to the team on the field, he might be slacking on those he made to Shawn Levy.

Is Deadpool 3 delayed due to Wrexham FC matches?

It is evident that Ryan Reynolds has been busy with his football team. And it looks like even Reynolds is not free from the stereotype of being “obsessed” with football if Shawn Levy’s statements are anything to go by. However, with Deadpool 3 slated for a 2024 release, it seems like the actor’s obsession with his dream team is causing hindrances in filming.

On one hand, Jackman is not slowing down the least bit with his training and on the other, Reynolds’ director is expressing concerns about delayed filming due to his busy schedule.
