The delays owing to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike have been a bummer for the Deadpool fanatics. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the third installment of Deadpool because of the tantalizing flow of rumors surrounding its casting. From Hugh Jackman’s debut as Wolverine to Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen’s addition, Deadpool 3 looks promising. However, the news that caused the most amount of hype is Taylor Swift becoming a part of the crew as Dazzler. 

Ryan Reynolds has been trying to get the sensational pop star onboard for a long time. The 46-year-old actor shares a special bond with Swift and even cast her cat babies in Deadpool 2. Owing to this close-knit relationship, there is a good chance that Deadpool 3 might actually be a delight for all the Swifties. But who is Dazzler? 

Dazzler – The disco singer with superpowers

Dazzler, the LGBT icon, is an X-Men superheroine who first appeared in the 130th Uncanny X-Men series. This superheroine is not just known for her light-based mutant powers, but also as a magnificent entertainer. She inherited the knack for singing from her mother, Katherine Blair, and used her superpowers (initially) to convert music into dazzling colors. This trick turned a lot of heads, including the Hellfire Club’s queen Emma Frost and X-Men’s founder Xavier. This was the beginning of her journey as a Marvel mutant superheroine. Now the question is, what would be her role in Deadpool?

The Deadpool fanatics are aware that Deadpool marries Shiklah, riling up her husband-to-be Dracula. And now the infuriated Lord of Vampires has unleashed his vampire goons to take revenge. Is Shatterstar making a comeback in Deadpool 3?

The previous parts of this obsession-worthy movie have witnessed the death of many memorable characters that stayed with fans. But, as per popular theories, some characters may actually make a comeback in the upcoming film. Lewis Tan, who played the role of Shatterstar in Deadpool 2, is one such character.

Tan’s character died in Deadpool 2 by falling into the blades of a helicopter, but he can still make a comeback. We all saw Deadpool traveling back in time to fix things, and this is not something new in Marvel movies. Owing to Marvel’s popular continuity conundrum, and the fact that Hugh Jackman is returning, this theory can actually have some truth in it.
