While almost everyone stands hyped for a probable spar between the merc-with-a-mouth and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, the actor went a step ahead to confirm it. The Canadian star replied, “True story” to a fan poster by renowned digital artist, BossLogic, depicting a butt scratch off his red spandex. The iconic three-cut stripes are undeniably one fresh off Wolverine’s claws.
The post further highlighted the signature tongue-in-cheek details synonymous with the character. Starting from a glimpse of the cheeky Hello Kitty underwear to his gun labeled with “pew pew pew” and “Grip Here” labels. Moreover, the details firmly matched that of the iconic outfit the character has worn since the last two Fox Deadpool movies. Additionally, a slightly brighter red tinge on the spandex may also align with the recent costume changes mandated by Marvel Studios to make it even more comic-accurate.
