It is needless to say, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been forever the subject of crude criticism and backlashes. Over the years following their spring nuptials, especially after the Megxit, the Duke and the Duchess found themselves in a quagmire of immense hatred. Some tabloid moguls made it their life’s career to comment on the pair. Along with flag bearer Piers Morgan, Jeremy Clarkson has followed the trail to despise the duo forever. Nonetheless, the sun seems to have risen in the opposite direction today, until it set again. 

The mouth which never had a positive to remark the estranged Prince and his wife, has hoarded praises for them in the latest updates. However, that soon took the usual course. 

Jeremy Clarkson launches a new style attack on Prince Harry 

Writing in his column for The Sun, the critic commended Prince Harry for his commitment to servicemen and their war spirits. He praised the Duke for his empathy towards the fallen soldiers, thereby giving them a new lease of life for their future. Nonetheless, that soon changed to an attack as he stuck to the comments that the Duke made in the Invictus Games Netflix project. 

Prince Harry had affirmed that the UK media did not have much coverage of the grievances of the fallen victims of war. The warriors had their limbs cut, thrown, and blown up in war. And the media did not do enough “to cover the plight” of soldiers, he said. Pointing it the same, Clarkson wrote how he was startled to hear that since he had himself met a war hero whose condition could not be any worse. “Harry‘s fury means he’s forgotten UK media support for military heroes,” he wrote. 

Not only did he meet the soldiers, he even went on to write columns for The Sun which the tabloid published. He also questioned the Duke’s memory of a forgotten backstage interaction with Prince Harry. The attack did not come as a shocker, as this is not the first time Clarkson has lambasted the Sussexes.

The end of 2022 saw a bewildering resurgence of controversies after the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix bombshell in December. Following the heat, the tabloid mogul took to The Sun to launch a vile attack on the Duchess. He wrote that he hated Meghan Markle on a cellular level. And that the Duchess should be “paraded naked” on the streets of London. 

The comment, as was inevitable, gathered much outrage on social media. People ranging from commoners to famous personalities took a bold stance in condemning the comments. Various organizations called for apologies and the article was eventually brought down from publication.
