To Meet the 26th July Release Date Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Deadpool 3’ Hires an Award Winning Crew Mate
Ever since news broke that Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy had plans for Deadpool 3, the world has been in a frenzy. While filming began back in March, it came to a halt due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Thankfully, with the strike over, the cast of the upcoming film is back on set. However, apart from Hugh Jackman and the recent addition of Dogpool, the team also saw another addition to their crew.
In a dynamic turn of events, Shane Reid, an acclaimed winner of Indie Short Awards, has now joined the illustrious crew of the Free Guy star’s much-anticipated project.

In a recent post by Iconic Talent Agency, it was revealed that film editor, Shane Reid, was joining the crew of the Deadpool 3 team. While not much is known about him, the editor won the award for Best Editor for Indie Shorts earlier this year. Through various posts by the leads and with the addition of Shane Reid, it has become clear that Deadpool 3 is leaving no stone unturned to meet its 26th July release date.
So far, the editor has been recognized for his work in A Hidden Life and One More Time with Feeling. While that makes this his first foray into the MCU and its superheroes, it could prove to be a difficult task. However, with him having Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, and Hugh Jackman to help work out any future troubles, Deadpool 3 should prove to be an easy bridge to cross.
The addition comes shortly after the whole team went back on set to resume the film’s shooting that was abruptly stopped earlier this year.

After the Thanksgiving celebration had died down, a Marvel Studios executive shared a glimpse into what she was thankful for. Wendy Jacobson shared a picture of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, all suited up in their superhero costumes. Along with it, she added a caption that read that she was “grateful for the gift of being back at work and watching the sunrise from the set.”
While that means that the crew and cast are back on set, the damage has unfortunately already been done. However, thankfully, the release date for Deadpool 3 is not too far away. Earlier this month, The Adam Project star announced to his fans that the film would be released in theaters on July 26, 2024 despite its absence from Disney’s earlier lineup.
