There is almost a metaphorical significance to Sweeney dressing up as Jayne Mansfield, as the late actress also was termed a ‘blonde bombshell’ and notorious for her beautiful body. Moreover, Mansfield in a supposed staged wardrobe malfunction got her bosoms photographed by journalists. If you read between the lines, this may even be Sydney Sweeney’s way of clapping back at those who ridicule her for her erotic scenes in Euphoria.
