Ryan Reynolds, before entering the fantasy world, established a foothold in many comedy dramas, including his 2005 movie Just Friends. Reynolds played a high school obese in the movie for which the actor had to undergo a drastic physical transformation. Even though the movie didn’t do very well at the box office, it is still a likable romantic comedy that is a great holiday watch for many. It is one of the first movies of the Deadpool actor that also starred the comedy queen Anna Faris. 

Faris, popular for her wits and comedic timing, blessed us with funny scenes in Just Friends. When she talked about one such scene in 2020 left the netizens in stitches.

Ryan Reynolds’ co-star Anna Faris revealed a fun fact

The 46-year-old actress took to social media in 2020 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Roger Kumble movie. She shared behind-the-scenes snaps from Just Friends with the caption, “Some behind the scenes pics from Just Friends!”, as reported by Republic World. Among the side-spitting images, there was one particular picture in which the actress had toothpaste all over her mouth. The picture was from one of the best comical sequences, clips of which still circulate on social media.

The comedian captioned her post saying, “Fun fact – this was real tooth paste.” The tweet not only invited hilarious reactions from the fans, but even The Adam’s Project actor couldn’t stop himself from letting his wit loose.

Reynolds reposted the tweet with another fun fact. He said, “Fun fact – I ruined almost every take of this scene because I couldn’t stop laughing. Even the take they inevitably used… you can see I’m starting to break.”

The actress also shared a funny picture of the Just Friends’ trio, featuring the Free Guy actor along with Faris and Amy Smart. Reynolds and Faris also paired up in another movie that was released in the same year called Waiting. 

However, fans, above all, remember the actress from her feature in a very popular American television sitcom, Friends.

Friends, the Primetime Emmy Award-winning sitcom has featured several popular cameos during its run. From Brad Pitt to Bruce Willis, popular appearances became a trademark of the 10-season-long show. Even though some of the cameos did create a bit of discomfort for the cast, the strategy still proved to be advantageous for the makers. Faris was one of the last special appearances on the show who played the recurring role of Erica, the mother of Chander and Monica’s twins. 

The actress portrayed a dull and laughable pregnant woman from Ohio, who was confused throughout. In “The Last One” Erica gave birth to Mondler’s twins, giving a closure to the story of the best couple in Friends. The couple also named their daughter after Erica, further signifying her role in their lives.
