The Deadpool fever is finally abloom and thriving in glory as Deadpool 3 awaits its theatrical unveiling in about some months. As Marvel prepares to pick up the story of its favorite Merc with a Mouth 6 years later, a star-struck collation with the X-Men Universe is keeping fans on their toes. Since this off-the-books crossover has been accelerating the excitement of every Marvel enthusiast for the past year, it prompts speculation about the potential consequences if Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds were to encounter the observer of the multiverse, Nicholas Joseph Fury, a.k.a Samuel L. Jackson.

In fact, should the two have joined hands for the threequel, a new-age Marvel story could be on record for these three reasons.

It seems like the MCU lads have curated their gray cells specifically for A1 humor serves and if given a chance to collide, a Deadpool Fury could be the outcome. While the audience already got the taste of that delivery with their 2017 face-off in Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, their reunion for the upcoming Deadpool installment could have satiated the leftover hunger. One of the reported rumors even shared how Reynolds wanted Jackson on board with Deadpool 3.

Furthermore, keeping in mind that the pair goes way back in their bond of alliance, Deadpool’s movie bff, Wolverine, could easily have been replaced with Nick Fury. But it is also true that such a fate would miss out on Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy rolling out in an emotional embrace. However, knowing the daring fans, they might have even gotten on board with the idea if the pitch was ever made.

Racing the R-rated movie

Since the priority-tagged MCU flick is gaining momentum as an R-rated project, Samuel L. Jackson’s coming on board could have landed Nick Fury’s first-ever cuss alongside Reynolds. Deadpool has always lived up to its rating to feature and inculcate dark comedic tropes. And if Fury were to get behind the wheel for this venture, joint manufacturing of witty showers from the fathers of sarcasm would have made its way to amplify the buzz around the movie.

Especially with Fury’s first trial to land a chaotic ordeal with the anti-hero of the Marvel Universe, the movie would have been a hit without a doubt. Moreover, his involvement could also bear reality to one of the iconic Deadpool references.

Deadpool has been full of stances featuring comic jabs on MCU heroes. While many of them have been about his threequel bestie, Wolverine, the first-ever flick also mentioned a joke about Nick Fury in the post-credits rollout. As Deadpool came out all puzzled donning a bathrobe to witness fans awaiting the post-credits scene, he made a quick jibe at the makers lacking money to hint at future installments in the signature Marvel-style.

Specifically, he asks the audience if they are waiting for Samuel L. Jackson to make an appearance in a leather jacket and eye patch to hint at Nick Fury’s makeover from Marvel. While one might not have waited back then for it to happen, the same cannot be said about now since the reasons make a good enough pro list. Moreover, who would not want a Marvel dream to attain reality when it features a Fury-ous Deadpool?
