It is no secret Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have turned the tables after acquiring Wrexham AFC. The docuseries, Welcome to Wrexham, contributed to having the huge cult followers of the club. This creative initiative by the club owners became a tremendous hit immediately. However, despite this success, the Canadian actor was not comfortable with the idea at the very beginning.
After the success of Season 1, the Hollywood celebrity duo is bringing the second season as well. Although the Deadpool actor admitted he was not okay with the idea at the beginning when they created the docuseries. During his interview with Variety, the Vancouver-born admitted he was not comfortable being around the camera all the time. He confessed that he had never previously experienced being part of a documentary series, which required him constantly on the screen. But the actor also talked about his ignorance.
Apparently, the 46-year-old had the option not to appear constantly on the cameras. Additionally, admitting to making a joke in the docuseries about the same, Reynolds revealed, “There’s a moment in the series where I’m joking that I didn’t know that I had the option to not appear on camera all the time. And that was true!”

Fortunately, he got comfortable with it halfway through. Therefore, if you have noticed the Red Notice star hesitant in the docuseries, it was not his acting skills at play. Well, once McElhenney declared Reynolds as his friend and also a brother. He meant every word because he proved to be a great help to his partner.
