The 59-year-old director wished Logan should have been the final performance of Jackman as Wolverine. However, he knew there would always be another Wolverine. “There could be a baby Wolverine and a cartoon Wolverine,” said Mangold. He believed people would not leave the character alone until there was nothing left to explore. Therefore, while agreeing to let Wolverine be back, he expressed his true wish for the character to be left alone.
Nevertheless, the director himself also approved the return of the character, Jackman once revealed, albeit with some reluctance. Although Mangold’s feelings have significance, there is one more thing about Wolverine that fans should know.
