Who could ever forget the early 2000s NBC series, The Office? Apart from having a star-studded cast, the series constantly broke the fourth wall. It may have been for the comedy but it made the series a tad bit more relatable to their viewers. With all the right characters ending up together, there is no denying that the entire series could not have been made better. However, over a decade after the show reached its end, rumors of a reboot began swirling.

While fans may have fallen in love with the show’s characters like Jim Halpert, Micheal Scott, and even Dwight Shrute, it was the entire franchise that ended up stealing hearts. The news of a reboot being in development was announced on Culture Crave. But 10 years after the final season of The Office, the news of a reboot was not met with the enthusiastic response Greg Daniels, the original showrunner, was expecting.

Once fans realized that was true and not a joke, the confusion as to why a reboot was even needed ensued. The show had built a huge fanbase since its early days on NBC. But it soon drew fans in with its hilarious characters and rather dry comedy. Apart from the sarcastic comments, the show grabbed attention with its excellent actors and relatable seasons.

However, after a nine-season run, the series came to an end. But only after becoming one of the most popular comedy series on the planet.
